Puerto Vallarta Pirate Ship
The Marigalante has sailed a total of 52,000 nautical
miles around the world. This is equivalent to 2-1/3 times around
the earth. This beautiful ship is an exact replica of the Santa
Maria, the ship that Christopher Columbus used when he discovered
America over 500 years ago. This is the main reason for which the
Marigalante made its first voyage in 1987 from Mexico to Spain.
To this day, the Marigalante has visited over 87 different ports
around the world.
Puerto Vallarta Day Cruise
A great way to get acquainted with the natural
beauty around the Bay of Banderas is to sail aboard the Marigalante
and enjoy a pirate show put on for the morning cruises. This is
no ordinary crew, only pirates, ready to serve you a delicious Mexican
breakfast. This is preceded by a spectacular weighing of the anchors
and followed by an entertaining navel battle with water –
filled balloons, an energetic aerobics session, and a super pirate
torture contest. After the show the Puerto Vallarta Day boat will stop at a number of
beaches and places ideal for snorkeling.
