Puerto Vallarta Outing

Plan a full day to discover the marvelous San Blas. This journey takes you to the north, along the Pacific coast highway as you enjoy breakfast on-board a deluxe, air-conditioned coach. You will pass through small villages and plantations that supply Puerto Vallarta with bananas, papayas, pineapples, and mangos on the way to San Blas. Here you tour a fort, “El Fuerte de Bacilio”, built by the Spanish in the early 1600’s to defend themselves from pirates.

Then it’s on to Tovara, where you will board small boats for a tour of the channels threading their way through the mangroves and get a chance to see a cornucopia of exotic birds, tropical fish, turtles, and even crocodiles. Lunch is included and is served at the beachside restaurant Pairaiso Escondido – there is time to relax on the beautiful beach of Matanchen.
